Have you tried the CurlyEllie Lifted Roots Technique ?
Curly hair care is an art form that consists partly of selecting highly effective products and partly of picking the right techniques to make the most of your hair products.
Proper cleansing is the bedrock of any curly or coily hair care regime.
Any self-respecting curly haircare line consists of conditioning agents and oil deposits, but beware....
Allowing these products to sit too long on the hair and scalp will eventually cause build-up and nasty scalp and hair issues.
We created the sulfate-free CurlyEllie Gentle Shampoo, to rid your hair of impurities without stripping your scalp, curls, and coils of its natural oils.
The combination of Cocamidopropyl Betaine (derived from coconut oil) and Sulfoacetate’s create a gentle lather that cleanses without irritating eyes or causing dryness to hair or scalp.
Hair is left smooth and conditioned with Aloe Vera Juice, Quinoa Protein, and Pro-Vitamin B5 to keep hair healthy and happy.
As for your scalp, it is left refreshed and soothed. Ready for all the day or week throws at it.
So, what should you be doing... we introduce the:
CurlyEllie 'Lifted Roots' Cleansing Technique
We developed the Curly Ellie Lifted Roots Cleansing Technique for those with oily scalp or those days when you have been pushing back your wash day for too long.
The goal of this technique is to bring back volume to your roots.
Watch it here or continue reading to try this at home.
The steps are as follows:
Step 1 - Remove Excess Sebum
The CurlyEllie Gentle Shampoo is applied directly onto dry scalp and massaged to lift excess sebum, product build-up, and dust.
Step 2 - Cleanse Scalp
The next part of this process is to completely drench hair with water to foam and distribute the shampoo evenly through hair.
Step 3 - Wash Hair
Having focused a lot on the scalp we cannot forget our hair so that it can properly up solve nutrients from Conditioner and Leave In.
Step 4 - Enjoy
I guess the results speak volumes, curls will be defined with volume that starts directly from the roots.
Now go out there and enjoy spring to the fullest, but stay safe!
